Well, I liked Link's line art way back in my scetchbook...but then all that seemed to go away with all the black...but I should have expected that to happen. I like this one but I had almost nothing in mind for it so it ended up looking a little like the Ice Cavern one...a whole mess of crap stuck in every random corner. I liked Bongo's hands at the least though, (those be my hands! I love my hands...they are so cool...) they came out better than I would have thought but Impa down in glooms ville down there, well she reflects nothing of her character so I'm just going to say that she is beign over whelmed by the darkness or some jazz like that. She did get captured right? And is it just me or do all the sages die and just get lucky and turned into sages? I mean they were probably killed and then Link had to erm, 'awaken' I think the term was, their souls and *poof* "Yay I'm a sage again!" ....."wait..." So really, he didn't save them...same with teh WW sages, they die too...0.o THEY ALL DIE! aherm, okay I'm good now. So back to the picture.
i was lookign forward to doing shadow temple but...it didn't turn otu the way I really wanted it to...btu I do like the spiffy red lighty stuff off BB's eye there. (yes that is his eye) And I had a mental war with myself on whether or not Link should have eyes or just be completely expressionless...so I really don't know how it came out. I winged it and changed it so many times...
And considering I've done the hover boots before...they didn't come out very good at all once I'd finished darkening everything...dang...but at least you can see them and tell what they are...
All in all, compared to the other ones the quality I go for just isn't in this one...But I'll probably submit Link's line art to scraps just cuz I'm so proud of it. ^^ It was like the whole slow mo running thing, I had to laugh.

Once again another fabulous temple rendering! I love Link's pose as he's running with the hover boots, and Impa's pose is very fitting to me. She doesn't look afraid or overcome with evil, she looks very meditative, like she's calling forth her Sage powers in order to aid Link. And Bongo Bongo is perfect! Your hands make good models! heh. All in all this pic is superb, maybe a touch too dark, but hey, they don't call it the Shadow Temple for nothing right?

Peter: I told her she was fat.

Bongo Bongo was both the funniest and most novel bosses I've ever come across. Funny because he was a bongo playing evil spirit, and novel because of the same reason. I love the way you did this. Very good. I love it!

well i think this is defidently one of those pieces that looks better in full view. i didnt think all that darkness worked for it when i was looking at the smaller image but when it was enlarged it works really well.
personally i think link should have a little more detail to his face since the rest of him is fairly detailed. i see and understand the look you were going for but it seems just a little too blurry.
i love how you did the hands (link's, too) and other than the smudginess of links face i think its an awesome piece. it makes a pretty good desktop, too, by the way. nice work, as always.

=3 Very cool! The Shadow Temple is my favorite one My sis thinks I'm crazy for saying that, but it's the easiest temple for me... except I have trouble with Bongo Bongo every other time I fight him Anyways, I'm very impressed by it, especially by the hands, but also the eye and you even got Johnny Death down in the corner (that's what we call the spinning, hooded, blade statues ^^).
o_o you draw hands really well! and i gotta say, this is yet another awesome zelda art by you! i like how you didn't give link or sheik a face. it really enhances the dark feel of the pic. great color choices too!

I also love the shading; I like how the light is centered at Bongo Bongo's eye. :3
