5. Seeking Solace

Okay...3:00am, here we go. This is Tange. Another random character of mine. But the only one with blonde hair I'm pretty sure...You might be wondering what the hell anything in this pic has to do with the title. Well it doesn't, but the backstory does!!XD So here goes:
Tange is a Switch. He used to be a small robot-like thing called a Machina. A Switch is a human body with Artificial Intelegence taken from the core of a Machina.

Now, Tange, when he was still a robot, had a battle partener named Clash. They both stayed with a young girl (kinda young) named Kairu. (old name i took from an old fic of mine== ) who basically owned them and stuff. Clash was a much newer model than Tange. Machina recharge their power supply kinda like an Ipod, through the computer. So basically how the story goes, is Tange was offline being recharged when this wicked Virus goes crazy and infects any Machina plugged in around the world, turns 'em into killing machines.
So Tange goes nuts, murders Kairu and nearly completely destroys Clash. And that's only to name the ones he knew. So when he wakes up, he sees what he did...realizes she's dead and picks up Clash and drags his body out of the city (which is masacred) and down the highway.
Few more days of walking and a truck pulls up to them. Dude offers to take them to where they can get help. Turns out it's a lab in the middle of no where. The scientist there explains to Tange that he has this technology that can make his AI into an actual human brain and give him a body. Tange agrees trying to put as much behind him as he can. Clash is still being slavaged when Tange wakes up to find he has a human body. He leaves the lab, leaves Clash there and wanders out into the desert.
Now a Switch, having the thinking power of a machine, has immensly overpowered senses. They can push their bodies beyond any regular limits. Sight, Hearing, smell, touch all that jazz is so incredibly sensitive now.
Tange eventually finds a hidden facility in the desert where no-name-model's like him have made an organization on their own. All newer machina models, which are vastly supperior to the no-name-models, live in four other facilities depending on their make. Bascially Tange just tries to get his head around his life and everythign he did because of his machina self...he seeks solace.

Okay now for the pic: the funky looki'n thing he's leaning on is what he rides across the desert at incredibly high speeds. It's a machina but with the brain of an animal. Only Switch have the reflexes to drive them. You can't see it but they have funky solar sail lookin things sticking off the back that powers them, and they make cool noises. ^^ Plus his can't stop very well so he has to jump off and let it try and stop itself for the next hundred yards or so...^^ the blue glowy thing is it's eye...=.=;
He does have a sword-like thing...called a switchblade but it was too big to fit. I had issues with the lines...so we'll see what happens. I'm getting kinda attached to the bleach-style hair cuts, ^^ yay.
I'm done...I must sleep now.
